Sophomore Jacqueline Cako is ready to play at the All-American Championships this weekend in Los Angeles, Calif.
This is Cako’s first appearance in the prestigious tournament, and she is looking forward to the experience.
“I’m really excited to go,” Cako said. “It’s a really small draw.”
The tournament is based on preseason rankings and draws the Top 25 female college tennis players in the country. Cako prequalified for the tournament.
Assistant coach Clint Letcher will accompany Cako to the tournament and says it will be a good experience for her.
“She’ll get to play top girls in college tennis,” Letcher said. “She’s excited, we’re excited.”
